FREE 0345 Jobcentre Enquiry Line Contact Number

In line with many Government Departments, the Jobcentre Enquiry Line Customer Service line has been moved from an 0845 Number to an 0345 Telephone Number.

This change is in line with recent policy changes around cutting usage costs to benefit claimants when calling to report a change of Circumstances to the Jobcentre Enquiry Line section or when they simply want to chase the progress of an application.

The new Jobcentre Enquiry Line Number is 0345 604 3719

It is worth noting that whilst 0345 Numbers are not technically ‘free’ they are treated in the same way as telephone numbers beginning 01 and 02 and as such will be taken from your inclusive minutes if you are calling from a mobile.

Esa started claim Thursday 30th after hours on the phone I was told I would be called this evening by 6pm and a payment would be credited to my account. I did not receive a call back no money in my account. I am now left not knowing what is happening. Just an appalling horrendous way to treat a person. Please can I be contacted with some sort of explanation?

i feel your pain about being messed around by them. i had a letter recently that said i was on the work group instead the support group i was told i was on for a few yars. no reason as to why i was put on the work related one since my health has deteriorated over the years and i dont go out anywhere social and asked to go into town for interview but last time i did that many years ago they stated i could work because i had turned up for the interview i was deemed not bad enough with my nerves even though i was given a lift there by a close member of the family and not actually walking about town saying hi to everyone . i have severe nervous disability and bronchitis can barely walk or breathe but im being asked to go in for an interview in order to get me a job and likely they’ll choose what kind of job i must do with no consideration on my illness . ive passed several medical boards even my doctor was very angry with them in the past and wrote a letter of complaint they tried all kinds of methods to get me into work i guess they not happy until im coughing blood and passed out on the job center floor before they see im unable to work. and to top it of i get the letter near christmas like i dont have enough to worry about already. seems like they worse than banks giving out loans when it comes to disabled people entitlement. we are treated more like criminals ..no i take that back criminals have a cushty life in prison these days humanitarianism n all.
