Email Address to contact DWP
Throughout our comments sections people are asking if it is possible to contact benefit sections like jobseekers Allowance, Employment Support allowance and Income support at the DWP by email.
The answer is Yes and No…. the DWP do not offer claimants the option of corresponding by email at the moment however it is possible to send a direct email to the manager of the Benefit Centre dealing with your application.
The DWP use a standard method of assigning email addresses to staff and as such if you know the first and 2nd name of a member of staff you can send them and email directly!
Please note that they are very unlikely to respond by email due to the data protection act but if you include your telephone number or enough information about your complaint to enable them to investigate and call you back then we have found that they will.
All DWP email address end with: @dwp.gsi.gov.uk and start with the 1st name then a ( . ) and the surname of the officer. As an example a manager called John Smith will have the email address [email protected].
So all you have to do is look at one of the letters sent to you by either the jobcentre or benefit section dealing with your claim and find the 1st named officer to guess an email address that will get you through.
Whats the address for new esa claim (paper form) for walsall claimant I think its in wolverhampton . My brothers’ esa forms lost in the post…what can I do it was not signed or recorded delivery 🙁

I have returned to UK on 6/6/2017 and have being signing on for JSA since 17/7/2017. I am ILRT from 1977 to 1986 (spain joined EU), in 1988 I turned 19 and got registered by myself in home office. DWP has failed my HRT twice, how do I proof to them that I am legit if they do not accept passport evidence?

My pension forecast says I had 2 years where I paid no NI contributions, but the years in question I was in receipt of Income Support then Jobseekers. I’ve been in touch with NI and pensions who both referred me back to DWP. But when I phone they always say it’s wrong deoartment, and pass me on, where again it’s wrong department. I was in phone for over an hour twice today and nothing resolved. How can I check what benefit I was receiving at any given time and then query why NI contributions weren’t made.
I am making officially complaint against one of the advisors her name is Mags at Brittania House Jobcentre Plus in Hull East Yorkshire first for I was transferred from ground Floor to second Floor at Brittania House Jobcentre in Hull East Yorkshire where this Mags is first thing is she said that she found fault on my jobsearch and I know for a fact there is nothing wrong with it. I had no problem or complaints whatsoever with other members of staff and if they I would of act on it immediately second thing is she called me a scrubber and she said that is what I am good for and I am very upset by all this this happened on the 19th October 2017 so Anyway I have sent a letter on 24th october 2017 and also an Email I have requested to move me to another advisor back on to ground Floor away from this Mags I don’t like her or her attitude and what she has said to me so yesterday I went in to sign on saw her manager and he has refused my request to move me and he has made excuse about it he has not made no attempt or intention to move me and he was no help whatsoever he has took her side so she twisted her finger is a job I should go for but that is not what she meant I know what her intentions was she just covering herself making out she is innocent but she is not I don’t buy her excuses what she said to her manager I want to removed before I sign on again on Thursday 16th November but I don’t want any dealings with her whatsoever please could you investigate this complaint I have took it further to you the manager no good no help this is serious matter I would be grateful that you can help me to sort this before my next signing Date I am requesting you to help me to move me to ground Floor for next signing Date the manager there is not prepared to help me that’s why I have Contacted you. You talk about sending an email to the Manager of the DWP department – which is exactly what I would like to do, but you then go on to only explain how to contact individual members of staff – which I DON’T want to do. I am actually sending in a letter of commendation regarding two members of staff, and being a Friday, I was hoping that be getting off my email today (Friday) they could both go off for the weekend on a high !! They both deserve it. I want to contact the Manager of the Attendance Allowance Unit.
I need immediate help on having a letter from works and pensions about my P.I.P. claim being denied being sent to me again.
